WinGroup members on World Science Day exhibition 2012

On 9-th of November 2012, on the occasion of the World Science Day, an exhibition was held in the People’s office of the President of the Republic of Macedonia in Skopje, where many young researchers presented their projects. The exhibition was opened by Prof. Hristina Spasevska, Vice Dean for Education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies and Prof. Mile Stankovski, Dean at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies. The exhibition was a great opportunity for young researchers from different institutions to exchange experiences. Among many projects at the exhibition, there were projects by researchers from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies. Students from the Institute of Telecommunications had also a presentation at the exhibition, a demo called “Smart Institute”. The demo was developed as part of an ongoing course, Personal and ad-hoc networks, with the mentorship of Prof. Liljana Gavrilovska. The students realized their own imagination of the institute, using sensor network to implement many advanced functions. The demo aroused interest between the visitors, which found it interesting and innovative.
